Woman pleads guilty for role in Albuquerque crime spree

The woman who went on a crime spree that ended with police killing her partner, has taken a plea deal.

Jennifer Rael helped her boyfriend, Richard Rivera, rob several banks and businesses last summer.

Police tracked the couple to the UNM area where police say Rivera fired shots while driving. It all ended at the Smith’s store near Coal and Yale. That’s where police shot him and arrested her.

Thursday, Rael pleaded guilty, admitting to the robberies. She faces 20 years in prison.
