A woman accused of leaving six dogs to die in a hot car seems to be making a habit of skipping out on court dates.
Sara Mauter is facing extreme animal cruelty charges, accused of leaving the dogs in an SUV after she was hired by a dog breeder to transport them to Texas.
She was initially released from jail, then arrested again because she missed a court hearing, then released again when the state agreed it was a misunderstanding.
Then she missed another hearing in a different case, and last week failed to report to a pretrial services appointment.
A warrant is now out for her arrest.
