The woman accused of leaving six dogs to die in a hot SUV has been released until trial.
Sara Mauter and her boyfriend were hired by a breeder to transport six dogs to Texas.
Police say instead, Mauter left the dogs in a car outside a nursery on Lomas, where they all died.
Last month, Mauter was thrown in jail after she failed to show up for a court date.
She then pleaded not guilty to her alleged crimes and was put back behind bars.
Friday in court, she asked to be released on her own recognizance, saying she has been held longer than she should have been. The state agreed.
A plea hearing is now scheduled for November 15, with a pending trial date set for December 11.
