The so-called Utah “holiday bandit” is sitting in a Los Alamos jail cell.

Los Alamos Police pulled over 22-year-old Antonio Velasquez just before the New Year under suspicion of DWI. They say he did pass sobriety tests but was arrested on drug charges after the officer noticed a glass pipe with white residue in the car.

Velasquez had been on the FBI’s Wanted List for months. Agents say he used different disguises to rob at least seven banks in Salt Lake City.

Police say while at the station, Velasquez also admitted to selling drugs. He will face those charges in New Mexico before being extradited back to Utah.
