Bernalillo County deputies busted three men for drugs and more than a dozen stolen guns.
Deputies pulled over an SUV near Coors and Arenal late Thursday night, according to a criminal complaint.
Behind the wheel was 25-year-old Jesus Samaniego-Villa with passengers 20-year-old Christian Meza-Samaniego and 27-year-old Daniel Landeros-Garcia.
BCSO reportedly found eight rifles (two of which were stolen), six handguns, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, armor, cocaine and more than $33,000 in cash in the vehicle.
The trio appeared in court this weekend where the state filed a preventative detention motion on each that would keep them locked up until trial.
“What that means, Mr. Villa, is you are being held in custody until a District Court judge can hear the state’s motion,” said Judge Christine Rodriguez.
All three suspects are facing drugs and stolen firearm charges.
