The trial for the daycare owners accused of leaving two kids in a hot car has been postponed.
Mary and Sandi Taylor are facing charges of child abuse resulting in death and great bodily harm.
They are accused of leaving two toddlers in a hot car for two hours outside their home daycare in Clovis.
One of the girls died.
Opening statements were scheduled for Monday, Sep. 24, but late Thursday Judge Donna Mowrer approved a motion from the Taylors’ defense attorney who said recent witness and discovery filings will require more preparation.
The Taylors are now scheduled for trial in January.
