ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A trial date has been set for Sylvan Alcachupas, the man accused of shooting and killing Giovanni’s owner Rosario Zito last year. Witnesses told investigators Alcachupas tried to rob the business shortly after it closed and got into a shootout with Zito.
The eight-day trial is scheduled for July 22 of next year.
