A judge will allow the subpoenas of two children in the case of a 7-year-old girl who was allegedly prostituted.
Teri Sanchez and James Stewart were arrested after police found signs of abuse and evidence Stewart had the girl performing sex acts in exchange for drugs.
The defense asked to conduct pre-interviews with the two children witnesses.
However in court Monday, prosecutors claimed the defense did not give them enough time to comply with the subpoenas.
Judge Brett Loveless decided to allow the subpoenas for the witness requiring that the interviews be recorded.
