State Police have been asked to investigate an incident involving an Alamogordo police officer.
All Alamogordo police will say is that they are aware of an “incident” at Gerald Champions Regional Medical Center this weekend, and that standard procedure is to call State Police to investigate.
According to the alleged victim’s son, that officer slammed his 65-year-old mother to the ground after a confrontation.
He says that officer is related to them by marriage and was asked not to come to the hospital to see a family member.
Alamogordo city officials say the officer is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
