The sentencing of a former Espanola teacher convicted for raping multiple students has been postponed.
Earlier in December, Gary Gregor was found guilty on multiple counts of rape and kidnapping.
Wednesday, the defense asked to put off the sentencing until Gregor undergoes a mental evaluation.
One victim was allowed to give an impact statement because she came from out of state. However, the sentencing won’t happen until at least next month.
Gregor faces up to 168 years in prison.
