Santa Fe police are reaching out to the public to help solve a murder.
Monday, officers found 52-year-old Robert Romero shot to death at his home on Las Casitas.
Police say Romero got into a fight with the suspect outside his home and that’s when he was killed.
There is a report of a suspicious person into a window in the area before the shooting.
Police are now asking anyone living in that area to check their home surveillance video for any unusual people from 6 p.m., Sunday, July 29, through 6 a.m., Monday, July 30.
