Police: Suspect draws more than $100K from ATMs with fraudulent cards

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Englewood Police are looking for a man they say may have stolen more than $100,000 from ATMs.

Police say they are investigating a series of fraudulent withdrawals totaling over $100,000 from several Dayton-area ATMs, including one in Englewood.

Investigators say the man in the photos used more than 80 fraudulent skimmed ATM cards to withdraw money.

All of the victims so far have been from the greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area. Investigators believe the card numbers came from skimming devices discovered on Huntington Bank ATMs in the Cincinnati area in late September.

The suspect is a white male with graying facial hair. The suspect’s vehicle is a 2017-2018 Ford Explorer with a Florida license plate starting with EVT or EUT.

A cash reward is being offered by Huntington Bank for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information about this suspect, the suspect’s vehicle or this case is asked to call Englewood Police at (937) 836-2678.
