The teen accused of shooting his mother’s boyfriend was arrested Tuesday. Hunter Woods, 16, allegedly shot him at the Avaria Apartments last Monday.
According to the Santa Fe Police Department, Woods was arrested near the businesses on Zafraano and Cerrillos. Police also arrested 19-year-old Jesus Ronquilla who was with Woods. Ronquilla was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Police believe Woods could possibly be involved in two other shootings. One near Las Acequias Road, and another at a home near Airport Road. No one was injured in those two shootings.
Santa Fe Crime Stoppers was offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Hunter’s arrest. No other information has been released at this time.
