Dinner rolls and juice have landed an Albuquerque man behind bars. Ernest Olguin was stopped at the Walmart near Coors and I-40 after police say he was caught on surveillance putting a bag of dinner rolls in his sweatshirt.

According to a criminal complaint, a juice fell from his pants as he was being escorted to loss prevention. Police say Olguin tried to make a run for it and a foot chase ensued. The officer was able to arrest Olguin and take him into custody.

He’s now facing multiple charges including shoplifting and escape. Olguin also had two outstanding warrants for battery on an officer.

The cost of the items he stole was $3.48.
