A Farmington mother has been arrested for failing to stop the abuse that left her 11-month-old in critical condition.

Jolynn Spahe is accused of placing her daughter in a dangerous situation by leaving her alone with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Jeremiah Yazziee-Miller.

He’s accused of shaking the girl and hitting her head on the headboard, leaving her with skull fractures.

Prosecutors say Spahe and Yazziee-Miller smoked meth that day and Spahe then left to the grocery store leaving her daughter in his care.

The child remains in critical condition.
