ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating a homicide in southeast Albuquerque. APD reports officers responded to a shooting incident near the intersection of Madeira Drive and Central SE.
Police say a caller stated that a male was on the ground with injuries. Officers arrived at the scene and found one male on the ground with trauma to his chest.
Authorities say the male was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital where he died from his injuries. Detectives are canvassing the area for video surveillance and witnesses. This is an ongoing investigation.
