It looks like seven months in prison didn’t convince him to change his ways.

Daniel Arushanov, 24, who was found illegally with a gun and ammo on the UNM campus and sent to federal prison, is accused of violating probation his first day out.

Prosecutors say Arushanov was released on Aug. 11, after he failed to show up for his drug test.

When his probation officers went looking for him two days later, they learned he wasn’t living where he claimed he was.

Those at the motel also say he claimed to be a member of the military, which he isn’t.

Prosecutors are now asking his probation be revoked and he be sent back to prison.
