A Clovis man has been sentenced for his role in helping three escaped inmates hide from police.

Jon Hausmann pleaded guilty to harboring a felon after he allowed three inmates to stay in his home following their escape from the Curry County jail back in June.

Police say he knew about the escape plan before it happened.

He’s been sentenced to five and a half years in prison.

A jail guard, Sarina Dodson, is also charged with helping the three men escape.
