Prosecutors are pushing to keep a man accused of taking an ambulance on a wild joyride behind bars until his trial.
Police say David Neher stole the ambulance from Presbyterian Hospital on Saturday morning.
Officers tried to pull him over, but say it took spike strips to finally get him to stop near University and Central.
He appeared in court for the first time Wednesday.
Another hearing will determine whether he’ll stay locked up.
