Bernalillo County prosecutors are trying to get the man accused of stabbing a car salesman with a dirty needle back behind bars.

Judge Stan Whitaker released Shammon Cordova with drug treatment last month, but officials say he abandoned the GPS monitor.

The victim says Cordova attacked him as he tried to kick him out of his car lot on Wyoming near Copper.

A judge still has to sign a warrant for police to arrest him.
