Police were able to track down the young man accused of shooting at a family in their truck.
It happened late Wednesday night when a young man and his 14-year-old brother were picking up their mom from work at the Lindo Mexico Restaurant on Central.
Police say 18-year-old Mariano Gallegos stepped in front of the family’s vehicle.
Gallegos then fired shots at them.
The man was hit by a bullet in his hand, but no one else was injured.
Officers were able to track Gallegos to a nearby neighborhood.
According to a criminal complaint, this all started over a dirty look.
It does not appear he knew the family.
