A young man wanted for nearly killing a police officer, not once but twice, has finally been arrested.
Mykl Chavez was charged with nearly running over a State Police officer two years ago, but he failed to show up to court. Then in late February, Chavez was pulled over by Bosque Police in Peralta. That’s when he drove off, nearly hitting an officer.
Wednesday afternoon, Bosque Police received a tip and found Chavez at a home in Belen. The SWAT team was called to assist, but they say they got him out on his own.
