A New Mexico man has been arrested for impersonating an FBI agent.

Some residents thought something didn’t seem right when a man, identified as Charles Snyder, burst into a home in Logan on Friday armed with a gun saying he was with the FBI, so they quickly called deputies.

Those deputies didn’t have to look far for the suspect. They found him in a nearby ditch. When they questioned him, they say Snyder continued to maintain that he worked for law enforcement.

Police say it appears he had been drinking. Snyder is charged with trespassing, unlawful carrying of a gun, and impersonating a peace officer.
