ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A jury has convicted a man for running from officers in a stolen vehicle. In November of 2018, John Trujillo led police on a high-speed chase through Albuquerque in a stolen car.
Officers used a spike strip to stop him, but he fled again in another stolen car and eventually crashed. Trujillo was found guilty for aggravated fleeing and receiving a stolen vehicle. However, he was acquitted on two counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer.
