A state cop has been indicted for selling drugs.
San Juan County deputies began investigating 33-year-old Daniel Capehart last month.
A criminal complaint says a teen reported getting inappropriate text messages from the officer after meeting him during a traffic stop.
Investigators say he stole drugs seized during an arrest, and hid them at a school for her to pick up.
Friday, a grand jury indicted Capehart with distributing pot and leaving it at the school.
