Prosecutors will be allowed to show video from the night an Albuquerque Police officer was gunned down.

Davon Lymon is scheduled to stand trial next spring for the 2015 murder of APD Officer Daniel Webster during a traffic stop.

Last month, the defense filed a motion arguing jurors should see the shooting, but not what happened after including the search to find him and the voluntary statement he gave.

Monday, Judge Briana Zamora ruled those videos were relevant.

Jurors, however, will not be shown responding officer’s efforts to revive Officer Webster and video the judge felt was cumulative.

Lymon is already serving a 38 year sentence in federal prison on gun charges connected to the murder case.
