Judge agrees to hold serial burglar in jail until trial

Crime

A judge has ruled to keep a serial thief behind bars pending trial.

Just last month, Cody Henson was arrested in connection to 16 burglaries. He’s accused of going on a spree in November and December in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Santa Rosa.

He was also the prime suspect in burglaries in Cedar Crest and Tijeras. Henson is known to authorities in Torrance and Bernalillo County because he’s been arrested time and again for burglary.

Monday, prosecutors argued that Henson remains a danger to the community if he’s allowed out. Judge Brett Loveless agreed.
