The driver of the car, 33-year-old Jason Ramirez, continued to flee traveling eastbound on Rio Bravo. He attempted to get back on I-25 at the Rio Bravo on-ramp, however, BCSO conducted a PIT maneuver that stopped the vehicle. Ramirez then exited the driver’s seat of the car and fled on foot. Ramirez was eventually taken into custody by BCSO.

NMSP says the female and other male passenger who were detained and released will not be identified.
