An Albuquerque foster parent busted in an undercover sex sting will stay behind bars until trial.
Special agents with the New Mexico Attorney General’s office conducted an undercover chat operation where an agent posed as a mother offering Joshua Saavedra her child for sex.
They say Saavedra agreed and arranged a place to meet up. He was arrested and admitted to being a foster parent.
The AG is working with CYFD to make sure the children involved are safe.
Monday, Judge Charles Brown ordered Saavedra held in custody until trial.
