ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A former Albuquerque Public School employee has pleaded guilty to stealing money from the school’s activity fund. Jessica Baca worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at LBJ Middle School in 2015 when an audit uncovered the theft of $25,000 over a ten-month span.

That money should have gone to pay for the school’s clubs and organizations. Baca was fired. As part of a plea deal, she will get probation but the official sentencing will be at a later date.
