Accused cop killer Davon Lymon has lost his fight to have his sentence reduced.
Lymon is accused of gunning down Officer Daniel Webster at Eubank and Central during a traffic stop in October 2015.
While Lymon is still awaiting trial for the actual murder, he was convicted of being a felon with a gun that night and two drug charges.
He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
His attorneys argued the three sentences should have run at the same time, not one after another, leaving him with a sentence of about six and a half years.
The Court of Appeals rejected that argument and affirmed his conviction.
Lymon goes on trial for the murder of Officer Webster in March.
