A Clovis track coach has pleaded no contest to sexting with a student.

Back in July of 2017, a 14-year-old student filed a lawsuit claiming Clovis Christian track coach Scott Fly sexually abused her over several months.

The teen claims she told administrators but was pressured to stay quiet.

He was arrested in September after State Police found several nude images he sent to a teen.

Fly was charged with sexual communication with a child but never charged with sexual assault.

He was sentenced to 18 months of probation and is required to register as a sex offender for ten years.
