ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Arrest warrants have been issued for a couple accused in a deadly shooting at a Blake’s Lotaburger Tuesday night. According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Brittany Sena was picking up her daughter from the girl’s dad in the Blake’s parking lot near Coors and Arenal when shooting occured.
Sena told investigators a fight broke out between the girl’s dad and her current boyfriend, Christopher Rodriguez. She said she turned her back when she heard gunshots and realized the child’s father had been shot. The couple then left the parking lot, but were later questioned by investigators who learned about the incident.
Rodriguez is being charged with an open count of murder, child abuse and tampering with evidence. Sena is charged with child abuse and tampering with evidence.
