ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department‘s (APD) Bomb Unit responded to a bomb threat at the federal courthouse. It’s located near Fourth Street and Lomas Boulevard in northwest Albuquerque.

Authorities were asking drivers to avoid the area after responding to a bomb threat. They said they retrieved a suspicious package from the area, but no further threat remained.
After collecting the package, the streets were reopened.
