An Albuquerque woman is being charged for her role in a shooting involving her teenage son.

According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to a homeless camp near Central and San Mateo early Thursday morning.

Two people with non-life threatening injuries were found and police say 38-year-old Shawna Garcia and her 17-year-old son Jamol Pete got into an argument with the two other people.

They say Pete shot the two and took off.

Garcia is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police say there is a warrant out for Pete’s arrest.
