An Albuquerque man is facing federal charges, accused of making death threats against State Police.
The FBI says Michael Nissen made numerous calls to dispatch telling them State Police violated his rights during a traffic stop and next time he would shoot the officer in the head.
The FBI was able to charge NIssen federally because his phone operates on a national network.
The charge he is actually facing is an interstate communications violation.
