A father who drove drunk with his kids in the car and killed another driver took a plea deal Friday.
Witnesses say Steven Deskin was speeding down Montgomery near Wyoming in December 2017, weaving in and out of traffic when he slammed into a car stopped at a red light.
Ramon Rosas, 34, was killed.
Friday, Deskin pleaded guilty to two charges against him.
He was looking at up to 18 years behind bars, but under the plea deal he now faces up to 12.
