Crews are monitoring the Bosque after two fires broke out.

They broke out Tuesday afternoon at about 1:30 near the Hispanic Cultural Center east of the river, south of Bridge.

About 35 firefighters from Albuquerque Fire and Bernalillo County responded.

Despite dry and breezy weather conditions, firefighters say the fires caused about three acres of damage, but are now 100 percent contained.

The cause is under investigation.

AFD says the area will be monitored overnight.
