Albuquerque firefighters will soon see an increase in their pay.
City councilors voted last night to approve a resolution giving fire union employees a 1.5 percent bump in pay.
The union represents 640 Albuquerque firefighters.
A similar resolution died at the last meeting after councilors deadlocked on the issue.
