A convicted criminal is asking a judge for a favor.

Kevin Folse was found guilty in 2015 of federal gun and carjacking charges after he was arrested for carjacking a 13-year-old.

Sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday, but Folse has a special request for that hearing.

According to a motion, he’s asking a judge to allow him to wear civilian clothing and be unshackled, so that he “may maintain his humanity and present himself to the court with dignity.”

The court has yet to make a decision.
