Construction to start on South Valley splash pad


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Construction will officially begin Monday on a new splash pad in the South Valley.

It’s part of the South Valley pool upgrade project and officials say it will be the largest splash pad in the state.

It will feature water slides, a bucket water drop, interactive sprays and water cannons.

The county hopes to have the splash pad open by Memorial Day.

Construction will officially begin Monday.
