Monday will spell similar warm, dry weather for central New Mexico. You’ll start noticing the southwest breeze Monday and Tuesday. Thunderstorms could develop on the fringe on the Gulf moisture Monday and Tuesday night, yet again, for the eastern border.
Tuesday will be cloudier as a Pacific low drifts near Four Corners. This will mark the beginning of an extended period of cloudier and milder weather over New Mexico. Rain will be hard to come by in valleys until Friday. Dew points will be too low for widespread thunderstorms until Sunday. Early models pointing towards over a half inch of rain in Albuquerque late next week.
