A truck driver who stopped an elderly woman from getting mugged was honored by the company he works for.
Back in September, Aaron Quinones jumped in to stop a robbery in the parking lot of the CVS on Eubank and Menaul.
A thief threw Virginia Conway to the ground and pulled a gun. That’s when Quinones stepped in.
Tuesday night, Admiral Beverage, the company Quinones delivers beer for, honored him for his heroic deed.
“Absolutely incredible,” said Admiral Beverage President Greg Brown. “The guy had a gun…We’re so proud of him. Our ownership flew in because we wanted to have a party for Aaron and celebrate his success and his courage.”
The company served dinner to the families of both Quinones and Conway.
