Comedians promote open mic nights around the city

News

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The opportunities to laugh seem to come around every once in a while in the Duke City when famous comedians come to town, but that is definitely not the case.

Albuquerque has a large comedian community who has somehow fallen under the radar.

Local comedians Kyle Merrell, John Cuellar and Mary Bird, joined KRQE This Morning on Thursday to promote comedy shows happening all over the city.

On Tuesday nights, join John Cuellar at Nexus Brewery from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for open mic night.

Adieux Café houses an open mic night titled “Adieux-In It Well.” This show is from 8 to 10 p.m. every Thursday night hosted by Kyle Merrell. Merrell can also be found Saturday nights at CoolWater Fusion from 9 to 11 p.m.

Mary Byrd has a show at The Box Saturday nights from 9 to 11 p.m. She can also be found all over the city.
