A main thoroughfare downtown is back open after weeks of being shut down.
Coal near Fourth Street was closed earlier this month for utility work for the new Zocalo Lofts.
Tuesday, KRQE News 13 reported that the city approved permits for the project in early January.
Nearly three weeks after the orange barrels went up, no action was seen taking place on the road itself.
The developer now says the utility work was completed the day they received the permit, but the barrels were left up until the road could be re-striped.
Wednesday, those barrels were removed and the road was reopened.
