ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Central New Mexico Community College students are going to have a tough time parking when classes begin later this month.
Officials say that’s because of upgrades planned for Smith Brasher Hall.
The building is 25 years old and the school’s project manager say they are installing new geothermal wells to heat and cool the building. The parking lot in front will be closed.
KRQE News 13 was told nearby lots should be open when school starts.
Crews are tearing Smith Brasher Hall down to its foundation to build entirely new classrooms.
They say the work should be finished in 2018.
