CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – Clovis Municipal School officials are considering signing bonuses to make teaching vacancies within the school district more attractive.

According to the Eastern New Mexico News, during a board meeting Tuesday night the superintendent outlined a bonus structure. The district hopes to offer $4,500 over three years.

It said $1,500 would be given up front, so those hired can find a place to live and get utilities turned on.
