Rain and snow continue to fall in parts of New Mexico tonight. Areas above 9,500 feet are picking up snow at Ski Resort levels in our northern Mountains while everyone else gets light to moderate rain. In Albuquerque, the main impacts will be strong, gusty canyon winds that will be sustained from 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. These winds will come down by Friday morning along with our rain chances. Showers on Friday will be confined to the higher terrain of New Mexico and some spot showers are possible on Saturday. After that, skies will clear for Sunday and temps will take off into the low to mid 70s for Albuquerque by the beginning of next week.
