Our storm system is moving and it’s wake will be more wind along with chilly temperatures. The wind will continue to be an issue tonight into early Sunday morning especially across southern New Mexico. That is where the wind gusts could exceed 50 mph. This wind along with the already chilly temps will make it feel colder than it actually is already.
Skies will clear out for most of New Mexico on Sunday, but it will stay chilly with breezy to windy conditions tomorrow. Another storm system will bring the shot for more snow around the Northern Mountains and across the Four Corners for the beginning of the week as another storm system moves in. This storm system won’t pack much snow, but it will usher in colder temperatures with high temperatures stuck in the 20s, 30s and 40s for most of New Mexico.
