Another nice day is ahead for the second day of Balloon Fiesta! Skies will be mostly clear tonight and waking up on Sunday morning it will be cool, but seasonable low temperatures are ahead. The morning will start out in the low 50s in Albuquerque with afternoon highs back into the low 80s, which is warmer than average for this time of the year. The wind will not be a factor for Sunday morning, however, it looks like the wind and rain chances will increase by Monday and Tuesday. A low pressure system tracking to our north will drag a cold front into New Mexico by Monday. This front will trigger some showers as it passes through central New Mexico by early Monday morning. This front will also pickup the breezes to begin the week. So we will have to watch the potential impacts from this system closely for Monday and Tuesday. Behind the front, temperatures will tumble back to near seasonable highs or even slightly cooler than normal.
